Facebook is reportedly preparing to launch another new product at its Menlo Park Hq. in a press event on 20th June 2013.
The social media giant sent out invitations to select press media persons in a similar fashion that it followed when it launched Facebook Graph Search, new look for news feed and Facebook’s new home on Android.
Facebook sent out press invites to media persons in a plain envelop containing an invitation letter that read “A small team has been working on a big idea. Join us for coffee and learn about a new product.” One thing many invitee noted was a printed stain of coffee ring on the invitation letter.
With the product launch date approaching, the buzz about the announcement of product is taking center stage on the web. Many people claim it to be Facebook’s news feed reader to replace Google’s reader that is being retired very soon.
While some believe it to be the roll out of facebook’s new newsfeed design that it showcased couple of months ago.
Whatever it is, it will only increase public communication and make Facebook more open and connected among similar communities. The recent introduction of hashtags feature indicates that Facebook is keen on making its social media site full of public conversations features, as one of its representative Greg Lindley said on Facebook’s blog “We’ll continue to roll out more features in the coming weeks and months, including trending hashtags and deeper insights, that help people discover more of the world’s conversations”
We will update you with the updates as and when they happen, stay connected!
